Did you like the before and after pictures I posted earlier today?
I love cracking myself up, often left alone to laugh at my own jokes. He, he, he.
Here are the real before and after pictures of my new office, our new painted walls, and newly refinished hard wood floors. What do you think?

Here are the pull down blinds for the french doors --will hang soon. This will help give privacy like I mentioned in "Create a Space that Works for You". |
My HUGE work space! |
More storage |
I love adding details like this to spaces, details that help the space shine just a hint more than it would without them. |
More details |
More storage and organization |
When creating a space that works for you, think about how you can hide practical pieces like this functional, magnetic curtain rod, which is being used to hold my quilt tops. |

I might need to lock you all out now, I have a lot of work to get done ;) |

It is Beautiful guys! Nice Job!
Thanks for all the nice comments. We've been planning it for awhile. It's nice to finally have everything done.
Yea! I had dreams about this last night. :)
I love it! I especially love all your creative storage. Was all this new (to you) or did you bring a bunch of items together from other parts of your house? I'd love to hear the stories behind some of these pieces (particularly the metal cabinet).
Love it! Keep working hard!
Thanks Kristin! We bought a few new pieces but most of it was salvaged from the old office. I got the metal storage units at a thrift store here in Salt Lake City, called Elemente, I got them about two years ago. I actually had a bigger one that I'm going to sell at a garage sale this weekend because two of the drawers are broke :( Hmmm, now you're making me think that I should have Josh fix them. I'm sure he'll be excited to hear that, lol. For the table, we got a new table top in the "as is" section of Ikea for just $10 and used legs from my old table that was too small. We did buy the new big storage unit you see. That was a must. We also bought new curtains; otherwise we had everything. It's amazing how a space can be made new with exsiting thing, a little paint and fabric, and a little problem solving.
The French doors are a great touch! I really need to come visit you guys! The house looks beautiful as always. Oh by the way....I may be blogging now :) www.motivate2010.blogspot.com Come check it out! You have inspired me to share what I love with EVERYONE!
